Day by day, more and more government officials are taking to social media, showcasing their day-to-day activities nabbing suspects who take advantage of our cheap fuel prices and subsidised goods.
Taking to social media, KPDN officers in Perak managed to track down a diesel smuggler near Manjung based on a complaint they received from members of the public.
“KPDN Perak is now hunting for diesel smugglers like this one which took place near Air Panas, Manjung, Perak.”
In the video, the officers can be seen approaching an unmarked truck, stopping to ‘refuel’ at a gas station.
“How much did you fill up? 1,000l? How many times did you do it?”
Not interested in the tank below the truck, the man then revealed 4 other tanks without proper documentation in the later parts of the video.
The officers then confiscated the diesel and the truck for further investigation.
Calling the public to report smuggling cases in the area, several choice comments have called out other state KPDN officers to start their sting operations.

Let’s hope that more efforts will be taken against thieves stealing what’s rightfully ours.
