By now we Malaysians know that our king and queen are genuinely caring and beautiful-hearted. In light of the recent political turmoil, lots of politicians are going in and out of Istana Negara to seek an audience with His Majesty.

So because of that, media personnel have set up camp outside the palace compounds to monitor and report the comings and goings of each and every politician.

Knowing that these media personnel have been camping out in the hot sun since 7am, our Agong ordered the palace staff to tapau KFC and to distribute them to the famished and parched journalists and photographers. Imagine how good fried chicken and an ice-cold drink tastes like on a hot day!

When the palace officials brought out the food, we can hear them cheer loudly. The camera then pans to them and they looked genuinely happy with big smiles plastered on their faces.

Needless to say, this hungry group is definitely very thankful to our King and Queen as they only managed to grab the smallest of snacks before starting their jobs.
