Myvi, the king of the road, is often associated with road rage and inconsiderate acts on Malaysian roads. However, this might just be a stigma as there are so many Myvi drivers (like me, lol) who are very gentle and kind.

This week, a video of a Myvi driver has gone viral, breaking the stereotype of the typical Myvi driver and the lady-owner of the white Myvi in the video has proven that you can’t let some bad apple ruin the whole bunch. From the video, you can see an old nenek in a wheelchair slowly pushing herself at the side of the road and the kind driver immediately stopped her car once she noticed the poor nenek struggling roadside.

She immediately rushed to her and we assume she asked the nenek where she wanted to go. Without any hesitation, the kind lady helped to push the nenek to her car, helped her go into the car and even lifted the wheelchair to be placed in the car by herself. After the nenek is safe in the car. The lady drove off to send her to wherever she initially wanted to go.

Thank you lady who is the owner of the white Myvi. You’re such an inspiration to all of us. Yes, these days, you have high profile celebrities helping the community but we don’t often see the rakyat being highlighted as well. So to the driver of the king of the road, you’re the queen of our hearts.
