Extending a helping hand comes naturally to all Malaysians. Known for their friendliness and ability to connect with others, especially those in need, Malaysians believe that small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day.

In a recent story shared by @arifaimanahmad, he recounts a heartwarming moment when he sought directions from a police officer who happened to be in the right place at the right time.

He got lost because it was his 1st time there

In the video, a food rider can be seen trying to find his way to a specific block of the building to deliver a food order to a nearby customer in Putrajaya.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Arif revealed that it was his 1st time delivering a food order to a customer in that area, which explains why he got lost and was confused with the directions.

“I can give you a lift if you want”

Not knowing which way to go, he approached a police officer who happened to be nearby. In the video, he can be heard asking the police for directions to block 2.

The police officer politely and helpfully responded,

“You’re currently at block 3. You need to go further up next to E6.”

Upon realising how far the block actually was, the police officer kindly offered to send Arif there instead on his motorcycle. Arif was pleasantly surprised by the generous offer and quickly expressed his gratitude to the police officer.

“He actually waited for me”

While on the motorcycle, they even had the chance to strike up a conversation, instantly becoming friends. Upon arriving at the designated building, Arif made his way to the lobby receptionist to deliver the food.

Thinking he would need to walk back to his motorcycle afterward, he was surprised to find the police officer still waiting for him.

“I was shocked and grateful to see him waiting. It dawned on me that he had waited to take me back to my motorcycle,” Arif explained.
