In the midst of all the negativity, it is best we highlight the glimmer of hope that gleams through the darkness that the whole country is facing right now. Kindness exists and we need to do our best to draw attention towards it and emulate the act of kindness that is done.
We recently discovered that a kind individual by the name of Kayalvili Ravi has set up a food bank to help her community in a bid to ease the suffering caused by the pandemic which has severely affected the livelihood of a majority of Malaysians. In a post on the Facebook page, she wrote,
“The purpose of this foodbank is to help those who are in need. Thus, feel free to take those necessities that you need from the foodbank and also to those who can and willing are all welcome to provide even more needs at the foodbank.”
The food bank can be found at Happy Laundry in Taman Tampoi Indah, Johor Bahru. So whoever in the area needs supplies please head on to the place to take anything that you need. Those who want to contribute can also do so at the same place.

We applaud such effort by Malaysians and we encourage anyone around the country to set up a similar food bank if they are able to do so. In these dire times, it is up to us to take care of the community that we live in. Together we shall improve our livelihood.
