We’ve always heard incidences where Malaysia has been named as one of the best and safest places to retire.

So much so that even Anime characters want to retire here!

Netizen, @brgsjks, took to his Twitter page to showcase a clip from Jujutsu Kaisen’s latest episode, where major supporting character Kento Nanami shared that he would love to have moved to Kuantan, Malaysia, prior to dying in the animated series. This has also led ‘Kuantan’ to trend on Twitter!

He wrote, “Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen wanted to retire in Kuantan, Malaysia. Probably because we have beautiful beaches.”

In the clip, Nanani could be seen battered and bruised as he faced off with a massive group of monsters a subway station in Shibuya, Tokyo.

“Malaysia. Yeah, Malaysia. Kuantan would be nice.”

“I’ll build a home on a secluded beach. I already have a mountain of books that I’ve bought and never touched. I’ll read through them page by page, like I’m taking back all the time I’ve lost,” he says to the monsters.

He later dies in the episode where a clip is shown of his character, presumably in his afterlife, enjoying the sunshine on a gorgeous beach in ‘Kuantan’.
