Guys, this is not a drill.
Genting Highlands will officially be reopening by this weekend to the public after an extended closure due to the MCO.
According to a press statement sent to WORLD OF BUZZ, Resorts World Genting will be opening its doors to all guests by 10am on Friday (19th June 2020) with strict adherence to SOPs and safety measures as prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Malaysian National Security Council.
So what will be open to the public, you ask?
Well, pretty much everything! While there has been no date set for the opening of its outdoor theme park, all shops, hotels and restaurants in Genting will resume operations.
However, please do note that due to limited capacity, entry into SkyCasino at SkyAvenue and Genting Club at Genting Grand Hotel will be restricted to Genting Rewards members for the time being.
In addition to the mandatory safety measures, Resorts World Genting will also be implementing the use of the MySejahtera Check-In option at all primary entrance and exit points throughout the resort for contact tracing purposes. So don’t forget to download it when you visit the highlands!
