Prime minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin took to his Facebook page to announce that he will be addressing the general public today, 17 March, at 5:30pm.

It is unsure as to what the announcement could be about, but many netizens seem optimistic and eager to hear some good news in regards to the situation surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The live broadcast will be available for public viewing on RTM, BERNAMA, TV3, and Astro Awani.
