JUST IN: MCO Extended Until 4 February For KL, Selangor & Other States

In his press conference today, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri announced that the Movement Control Order in these states will be extended until 4 February. The states involved will be:

  • Penang
  • Selangor
  • Johor
  • Putrajaya
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Labuan
  • Melaka
  • Kelantan
  • Sabah

The SOPs for these states remain the same and the scheduled ending of the MCO is synchronized with all the other states in Malaysia (except for Sarawak).

He added that the MCO has been extended due to cases not showing a decrease in these states. Interstate and interdistrict travel will still not be allowed.
