JUST IN: Malaysia Records 70 New Cases Bringing Total to 6,726; Recoveries Increase to 5,113

As of 11 May 2020, Malaysia records 70 new Covid-19 cases bringing the total number of cases to 6,726, according to the Ministry of Health.

This includes 88 new recoveries bringing the total number of cured patients to 5,113. As of now, 1,504 cases remain active.

The Ministry of Health also reported one more death, bringing the death toll to 109.

A total of 20 cases are being treated in the intensive care unit with seven needing breathing assistance.
