JUST IN: Government Will Be Giving RM1,000 to B40 Households & RM500 to B40 Singles!

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has taken to live broadcast to make an announcement on an additional economic stimulus package at 2.30pm of 23 September.

The prime minister has said that the unemployment rate is very high as of now. So, to help out the rakyat the government has decided that they will be giving additional monetary compensation.

Households in the B40 category will be able to get RM1,000 while single people in the B40 category will be able to get RM500. RM600 will be given to M40 households while RM300 will be given to M40 singles.

The money will be given in two instalments: once at the end of October and another will be in January 2021.

For people in the B40 household category, the first installment will be RM700 and the second instalment will be RM300.

Malaysians who have benefited from the BPN will not need to reapply. For those who are qualified but did not receive it the last time, can make a new application or appeal.

The Prime Minister hopes that with this additional help, the rakyat will be able to breathe a little easier.
