Most people who come to Malaysia would complain about the heat, and it would be warranted because, well, it’s freaking hot here.

But how often do you get to hear someone say that Malaysia is cold?

A Japanese YouTuber living in Malaysia took to her TikTok account, @malaypan_tv, to share why she believes Malaysia is freezing cold, and no, it actually has nothing to do with the weather.

She wrote, “How do Malaysians stand the cold?”

In her TikTok video, she shared how she assumed Malaysia would be very hot before she moved here. Though, she believes she was wrong as everywhere she goes in our country, she has to endure the extremely low air-conditioning temperatures.

“Aircond everywhere.”

The places she believes are too cold due to the air-conditioning include malls, cinemas, eateries and public transportation.

She also showcased how she needs a blanket to battle the cold and that for her, a fan is enough.

It is only fair to assume that us Malaysians rely on air-conditioning to beat the insane heat outside, but we do have to admit that the air-conditioning at some places are just too cold!
