It’s the end of the month and you know what day is it?? Yes, it’s the one day your bank account doesn’t look sad for a few hours until you’re forced to pay your bills.

However, imagine the disappointment when you excitedly open your Maybank2U app and find out the dreaded error message. That’s what Maybank users everywhere have been facing today on payday.

M2U

Maybank trends on Twitter as users call-out the service especially on the day when many have their bills due. One user, however, managed to turn the situation around by saying she’s glad the app is down because this way she can avoid online shopping

To rectify the situation, Maybank took to their Twitter and explained that the Maybank2u web and app are currently experiencing some intermittent slowness but the MAE app is operating as normal.

They added that you may log in to the MAE app using your existing Maybank2u User ID & Password to perform banking transactions available in the Maybank2u app such as funds transfer and paying bills.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue as soon as possible.”
