Following rumours that Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional are set to work together in order to form a government, there have been plenty of Malaysians that have expressed their displeasure over the rumour.

Even those in either in BN or PN have voiced out their concerns against it and warned BN against working together with PH.

It appears that former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is taking up the same stance against it as he recently admitted that he is willing to be sacked from UMNO instead of working with PH.

His daughter, Nina Sabrina Ismail Sabri had posted an Instagram story which showed a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation where the UMNO vice-president supposedly said he was prepared to be removed from the party if BN and PH work together to form the Federal Government.

I am ready to be fired… I will not work with PH”, read the message shared by Nina Sabrina on Monday (November 21) with the caption “Better to be powerless than to be without principle”.

Although the legitimacy of the screenshot has been questioned, it would certainly be odd for Ismail Sabri’s own daughter to share fake messages belonging to her father.
