Countries all over the world have been divided in the Israel-Palestine conflict but one thing is becoming apparent now, the countries who support Palestine is coming together to recognise Palestine as an actual state.
According to The Spectator Index, countries such as Ireland, Norway and Spain are now recognising Palestine as a state, giving them the right to have their existence recognised.
“Today (May 22) Ireland, Norway and Spain are announcing that we recognise the state of Palestine, each of us will undertake whatever national steps are necessary to give effect to that decision. I am confident that further countries will join us in taking this important step in the coming weeks,”
“It is a statement of unequivocal support for a two-state solution, the only credible path to peace and security for Israel, for Palestine and for their peoples,” shared Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris.
