Driving at high speed may be therapeutic but one should ALWAYS bear the consequences in mind., especially how dangerous and lethal it can be.
Just recently, 2 medical assistants, including the driver and patient suffered injuries after their ambulance was hit by a driver in an Audi TT FSI at Putrajaya traffic light. The medical team was en route to the nearest hospital after picking up the patient at Presint 18.
Panicked
According to a police statement by Putrajaya’s Chief of Police, the Audi driver was panicked and didn’t manage to step on the brake on time, which led to the collision. The Audi driver, who is 29 and an Iraqi national suffered no injuries.
The results of the urine tests also came back negative and confirmed that the driver was not under narcotics or alcohol influence. He also holds a valid driver’s license which expires in 2029.
The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act, and eyewitnesses are urged to come forward to aid in the investigation.
