What would you do if you received food that looks like it may have been touched or bitten by someone else?

A Malaysian man, aroy_shem, took to his Threads account to share his frustration upon receiving his food delivery order but it looked as though his food may have been picked at and eaten by someone else.

He wrote, “This is the thing that my brain cannot process the most. I was working and I got hungry so I ordered from (an eatery) from (a delivery platform) and when it arrived, I got food that someone had already eaten plus the chicken was cold.”

“I don’t know if it’s the restaurant’s staff or the rider, I don’t want to make accusations recklessly. But if it’s because they want to torture people, then you wait lah (for the consequences).”

In his post, aroy_shem showcased how the chicken served in his meal appears to have been picked at and eaten by another party.

He added that if the vendor was at fault, the restaurant staff should always check orders to ensure their food is good before handing it over to delivery riders.

Another netizen claimed to have a similar experience

Another netizen took to the comments of his post to share a similar experience with her meal, which she ordered from the same eatery through the same delivery platform.

“Eh, I experienced the same thing. Just take a look at the chicken I received. The chicken from (the eatery) that was ordered through (the same delivery platform) too. I haven’t started eating the chicken yet, yeah. And they didn’t give me sambal.”

What would you do if you were in their shoes? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
