If you love taking photos with street art, then Ipoh is a place you must consider. The town is scattered around with many mural art trails reflecting on cultural events and the identity of Ipoh Town. Some of the paintings were done by the famous Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic who is famed for many of Penang’s street art. Also, there are many local artists involved in these art murals as well. That said, although there are plenty of them, not all of them are easy to spot. Some are hidden in small alleys and narrow streets of the town.

All you have to do is walk around Ipoh’s new & old town to get a snap, it’s free to take pictures with the art murals! Check out some of them below:

Oh hey there good looking. ? ↟ If you couldn’t tell from my story yesterday, I absolutely love street art! There is just something so charming about it! & I love how they have so much 3D and interactive art in Malaysia. It makes it even more fun & they often capture their culture and life so perfectly. ❤️ ↟ What was even better is that there wasn’t many crowds surprisingly! ↟ #wanderlustlovers ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ ↟ #ipoh #malaysia #ipohcityawesome #ipoholdtown #ipohartist #ipohart #ipohstreetart #ipohartstreet #ipohstreetarts #ipoholdtownwhitecoffee #perakart #malaysianart #ipoholdtownstreetart #malaysiastreetart #ipohfood #streetartmalaysia #malaysiastreetartfestival #ipohtourism #muralart #ipohcafe #oldtowncharm #ipohperak #peraktourism #ipohtown #tourismperak #wallmural #ipohmuralart #malaysiatouristguide #malaysiatourist

Lovely day in Ipoh #gununglang #malaysia before the storm ??⚡️ finally found some place for fresh breathing and little hiking ⛰??
