While various people may possess an abundance of fears, there’s one thing that may triumph in provoking a sense of fright in most people – the dark. Not discussed nearly as often, the dark can play tricks on your mind, and in some cases, turn your head for a loop to mistakenly see something as more horrifying than what it actually is.
Such an instance was caught by one Indonesian husband, who got a glimpse of this scary figure, gliding down a street near his home. The user, whose name is Adam, shared this instance to his TikTok page @adam.praha. In the clip, Adam could be seen driving his car while moving towards a tall, white figure.
Visually floating down the road, a dark ambiance was only illuminated by shadows, with the moving figure looking rather frightening in nature.
It was not until Adam got closer, does he reveal that the figure is actually his wife, named Insal, riding a scooter while donning a traditional Muslim prayer garment – a telekung.
In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Adam revealed that Insal initially wanted to try a new scooter the duo had bought earlier. Thinking it was a suitable time to try it out after tarawih prayers, Insal decided to go on a breezy ride as they returned home from a mosque near their home.
Driving slowly behind his wife, Adam decided to capture a video of her journey after realising that the visual of Insal looked super creepy, and would trick any eye who wasn’t keenly looking at her. Through the guise of the dark, it seemed as though a ghostly figure was indeed floating along the side of the road.
Grabbing the attention of millions online, many users admitted to thinking that the video was of a real ghost, saying that they did not notice it was a real woman until Adam drove closer to reveal the scooter.
“Thank goodness she was just on a scooter, if it was a hoverboard, then this would be more creepy,” light-heartedly added one person.
Nevertheless, multiple people also added, in gest, that since it is currently the month of Ramadan, the “ghosts” are not out to roam the streets in any capacity.
“Think positive guys! There aren’t any ghosts during Ramadan,” wrote the user.
