Earlier on in the week, many netizens were angered when a pair of Indonesian influencers brought their 5-month-old daughter on a jet ski ride.

In the video, we can see that there were no safety measures taken as there wasn’t even a life vest for the baby. What’s even worse is that the mother was recording the father who was holding the baby in one hand while he maneuvered the jet ski with another hand.

Netizens condemned the couple and said that they prioritised creating content over the safety of their child.

In the latest update, CNN Indonesia reported that the couple has made an appearance on the Rumpi No Secrets Trans TV programme and apologised for their mistake.

“We would like to say thank you for pointing out our mistake. We’re sorry. And please don’t copy it.”

The mother admitted that it was certainly not time to bring her daughter onto a jet ski, “she’s not old enough, tall enough, heavy enough and so, we really admit that it was our mistake.”

Prior to this, as many people were concerned for the baby after the jet ski ride, the couple actually brought her to a paediatrician who confirmed that she is okay.

Well, we surely hope that no one will ever try to replicate this after seeing their content.
