If You’re An Astro Customer, Here’s How You Can Stream Disney+Hotstar Hassle-Free!

1 June not only marks the first day of the lockdown, but it’s also Disney+ Hotstar’s first day gracing our screens. After ages of just reading about The Mandalorian or WandaVision online, Malaysian viewers will finally have a chance to view this premium content themselves.

You can enjoy this streaming for just RM54.90 for three months OR if you’re an Astro customer, here are some ways you can enjoy amazing value bundles to experience Disney+ Hotstar:

  • Customers subscribed to the Movies Pack will enjoy access to the Disney+ Hotstar app and website
    (DisneyPlusHotstar.my) as part of their new, bigger and better Movies Pack which will come at an additional RM5 monthly.
  • Other customers can also stream Disney+ Hotstar via value-for-money bundles on the Starter Plus Pack at RM68.82 per month or Value Plus Pack at RM87.50 per month.
  • Alternatively, customers can add on a Disney+ Hotstar subscription at RM54.90 for three months to their existing packages.

Existing Movies Pack and other Astro customers are reminded to follow these steps before they can start streaming:

  1. Create Astro ID: For those who have yet to create an Astro ID, they need to do this via astro.com.my/astroID. Astro GO users can use their existing log-in ID.
  2. Activate (from 1 June 2021): Customers must visit astro.com.my/Disney, log in with their Astro ID, and key in their mobile number to activate their subscription.
  3. Stream (from 1 June 2021): After successful activation (Step 2), customers must download the Disney+ Hotstar app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and log in with their mobile number provided in Step 2. They can then start streaming the extensive library of films and shows on the Disney+ Hotstar app. For more information, visit astro.com.my/Disney.
