You only live once, so it’s important to have fun once in a while and entertain others. At least that’s what a celebrity lawyer in Malaysia believes.

Jiang, a local influencer celebrity lawyer who is often criticised for his controversial (and sometimes) sexist content has recently revealed why he continues to do what he does despite major criticisms online – he just wants to make us happy.

“Life is short, why are we being so serious sometimes?”

As a lawyer, places like the courthouse, police station, and prisons are inevitable, and if you’re really occupied, these are the places you have to visit on a daily basis. Jiang admitted that his job is stressful enough, but that has not stopped him from cheering the Malaysians.

“This society is too serious. Laughter is the best medicine.”

Jiang also said that his private life does not affect his professionalism at work, because the content in his videos is merely an act.

He then pointed out that life is short, and people should be able to live the life they want without thinking about what others have to say. But what about the criticisms that he’s getting?

To him, the public criticisms are “fueling” him to create more content because they make him happy.

“As long as you don’t drag my family into your criticism, I’m good.”

Over the years, some netizens have claimed that Jiang is merely gaining followers and making money out of his content, which he has also denied in a recent interview with Oriental Daily.

“No such thing. I just want everyone to have a good laugh.”

Jiang added that once the inspiration hit, he can’t help but make a video content from his inspirations and share the outcome with the public. You can watch the clip below and listen to what he had to say about his enjoyment of creating content.

It’s obvious that Jiang will continue to produce more content despite major criticisms from the public because he has only 1 intention in mind – to keep the audience happy. To those who have watched his videos, what do you think of his content?
