With the number of upcoming concerts in Singapore, we’re pretty sure the tourism industry of the country is expecting to see a boost this year.

Following Coldplay and Taeyon’s announcement of their concerts in Singapore, Hong Kong singer, Jacky Cheung, who previously confirmed 9 shows in the country announced that he’s adding 2 more shows in Singapore, totalling a whopping 11 shows! Earlier this week, in a Facebook post, organiser Unusual Entertainment Pte Ltd revealed that the additional 2 shows have been scheduled for 3 and 4 August.

Jacky is officially the artist who has the highest number of shows in Singapore, and according to a report by China Press, a number of 16,000 tickets for Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour were sold out within just 1 hour.

This is the 3rd time Jacky announced additional shows in Singapore. Malaysian fans, on the other hand, will also have the chance to catch Jacky’s performance for 6 nights on the dates below,

  • August 11 – 13
  • August 18-20

However, note that all tickets for Malaysia have sold out. Jacky is also known as the God of Songs, and based on the sales of tickets in both countries, we can see why. Prior to the new dates, British band Coldplay and Taylor Swift also announced additional shows in Singapore, leaving Malaysian fans devastated.

Malaysian concertgoers, are you flying to Singapore for any concerts?
