We can’t deny how many concerts are being lined up for the rest of the year but maybe not as many as in other countries.

Days ago, Coldplay announced a total of 6-day shows in Singapore following the overwhelming demands, and Taylor Swift also announced a 3-day show in the same country, skipping Malaysia, much to the dismay of Malaysian fans. It looks like both of them are not the only ones who will be skipping Malaysia for their shows.

South Korean singer, Kim Tae Yeon, fondly known as Taeyon announced her concert tour for 2023 in multiple Asian countries, including Jakarta and Singapore, our close neighbors. Fans of Taeyeon, we’re sorry to tell you that Malaysia is, unfortunately, NOT on Taeyeon’s list of countries for concert tours.

The tour is known as The Odd of Love, and the singer had just finished performing in Seoul and Hong Kong. Taeyeon is expected to perform in Taipei today (24 June), before she flies to Tokyo for her next show in July.

Her last show is scheduled for 20 August in Singapore.

“Malaysian fans, we’re the clown of the year”

As expected, some Malaysian fans couldn’t resist expressing their disappointment after finding out that Taeyeon has no plans to perform in Malaysia.

“How come Malaysia isn’t on the list when they have scheduled concerts too? Or is there no promoter who’s willing to sponsor her to perform in Malaysia?”

Malaysian fans, what do you think of the absence of our country on Taeyon’s list? Do you think we still stand a chance to see her performing here, given that changes can always be made?
