Hong Kong’s Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu recently shares pictures of him enjoying local Malaysian breakfast in Kuala Lumpur.
“The visit to the three ASEAN member states will come to an end tomorrow. This morning, I invited some colleagues from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Jakarta to a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for an authentic Malaysian breakfast,” he stated in his Facebook posting.
He shared that he ordered kaya toast, Hainan tea, and the traditional half-boiled egg, as suggested by his colleagues. These authentic dishes can be found in typical Malaysian Kopitiams. “Everyone enjoyed the meal,” he added.
According to the pictures he shared, the place that he dined at is ICC Pudu in Kuala Lumpur, a well-known food haven among the locals.
In his post, John Lee Ka-chiu also thanked his colleagues for their efforts in arranging the trip and encouraged them to actively strive for ASEAN enterprises to expand their business in Hong Kong.
