Sometimes when we’re faced with certain situations, most of us don’t know how to act but thanks to this driver’s quick action, a man got his gold chain back.

Taking place in the afternoon of March 9, a snatch theft had occurred in Lukut, Negeri Sembilan but the theft was foiled by a heroic Malaysian.

In a dashcam footage that has gone viral on social media platforms, we see a man driving and a motorcyclist lurking around the streets.

A man who crossed the street ended up being targeted by the motorcyclist who snatched his gold chain.

Seeing this, the driver of the car sped towards the direction of the motorcyclist who later turned back.

As he was trying to escape full speed, the driver’s car was blocking him and to avoid crashing, the thief jumped off and ran away on foot while people started surrounding the area.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the thief turned back because he reached a dead end and ran away empty-handed: without his motorcycle, the stolen gold chain or even his jacket.

People soon found out that the thief was using a fake motorcycle license plate and he had many tools with him that could be used to commit other crimes.

The police have said that they are still tracking down the culprit.

Even though the victim got his gold chain back, it is still a traumatic event so we hope that he is okay. On another note, kudos to the Malaysian who stopped the snatch thief!
