The Sungai Dusun Wildlife Conservation Centre is celebrating the birth of a baby tapir that was born on Friday morning (15 November).

After the birth of the 8kg baby tapir, the Wildlife and National Parks Department (PERHILITAN) took to their official Instagram page to ask the public to help name this precious new life. They’ve also shared two photos of the baby tapir to showcase his extreme adorableness in the same post!

“Please suggest names that will suit this baby tapir!”

Bera (mother) and Gadek (father) are also congratulated for giving birth to a healthy and cheerful baby boy.

Upon seeing the photos that were uploaded by PERHILITAN, the netizens were swooned by this baby tapir and many of them responded in the comments of the Instagram post.

Some of the names that were suggested were: Gedik (resembles Gadek), Batik and Radek (the combination of Bera and Gadek), etc.
