Recently, many people reported that they allegedly haven’t received notifications when from MySejahtera when they got their vaccine appointments. Hence for some people who do not check their MySejahtera application every day, it might be difficult for them to see their vaccination appointments until it is too late. So what should one do when faced with this situation?

The Ministry of Health (KKM) has posted an answer to this question in a Facebook post.

In the post, they said that if you are unable to make it to the appointment for whatever reason, you do not need to worry as they will reschedule the appointment automatically. Anyone who misses their appointment can check their MySejahtera application after seven days for a new appointment.

People who miss their appointments do not need to call the 1800-888-828 Vaccine registration hotline for a new appointment as they will get it automatically. However, a new appointment will not be given to individuals who registered for the AstraZeneca opt-in. They will have to wait for their appointment under the National Immunisation Programme (PICK).

As of 11.59pm on 16 June, a total of 5,108,948 doses of vaccine have been given. Of this 5.1 million, 3,632,195 people were given their first doses while 1,476,753 were administered their second doses, reported JKJAV.

If you know of anyone who has not registered for the vaccine yet, try your best to encourage them to do so! This is so that we can all play our part in achieving herd immunity.
