A Malaysian woman from Shah Alam is in a desperate search of her beloved pet parrot that recently went missing.

The woman, Reina Lum, took to her social media on 30 April to share that her pet parrot, Neo, had apparently flown away from an open window at her house on the same day at 7pm in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam.

According to Reina, who is a travel and beauty blogger, Neo is only five months old and has been with her since January.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Reina said Neo has a bright green body with a blue head and slight red feathers on his chest and tail.

She added that Neo is tamed and is friendly towards humans.

“Instinctively, he will seek the help of humans for food, shelter, and companionship. He’s very tame and isn’t afraid of humans,” Reina told WORLD OF BUZZ.

Reina also said that she has offered an RM2,000 reward to anyone who can help find Neo.

“There’s a thank you token of RM2,000 to anyone who finds and returns him to us. No questions asked. He’s family and we love him dearly,” she said.

“Also, if seen, you can lure him with fruits. His favourite is jackfruit and blueberries. Apples work too,” Reina added.

“If you find Neo or have any information, kindly call 016-6665416 or 012-6692652. We will not hesitate to come and pick him up at any hour.”
