For most students, finishing their Standard 6 studies is something to celebrate as they’ll soon be graduating primary school and moving to secondary school.
But, when you have a great Standard 6 teacher, it makes moving on so much harder.
Miss Sylvia, a KL primary school English teacher, took to her TikTok account to showcase a heartwarming video of their Standard 6 farewell ceremony, where the Standard 6 students who are leaving for secondary school were crying and hugging her as she comforts them.
Miss Sylvia wrote, “I love you with all the 4 chambers of my heart.”
In her video, the Standard 6 students could be seen lining up to bid their teachers their farewells.
Many of the female students gave Miss Sylvia hugs and cried as they felt saddened for having to say goodbye to their teacher.
Miss Sylvia also took the opportunity to comfort the students by giving them encouraging words and hugging them tightly back.
Seeing the heartwarming scene unfold, many praised the unity between the teacher and her students.
“Good teachers will be loved by many.”
“If a teacher is loving and patient, they will indeed become a student favourite.”
“She must be a great teacher.”
We genuinely hope that the students get teachers who are just as kind and loving in their secondary school placements!
