Health Minister Dr Adham Baba has been ordered to undergo home quarantine until 18 December 2020 after coming into close contact with an individual who tested positive for Covid-19.
In a Facebook post, Dr Adham Baba said that the close contact was a private media officer who visited his office last Saturday (5 December). The officer had tested positive for Covid-19 after experiencing symptoms.
“Until the HSO is over, I will be working from home including having meetings and discussions online,” he said.
“No one is exempted from following orders issued by the authorities, more so when it involves efforts to prevent and treat Covid-19.”
“Hopefully we can all play a role in dealing with and fighting Covid-19.”
