Health DG: 10 New Positive Covid-19 Cases, 140 Discharged & No Deaths Today

According to a live stream by the Ministry of Health on Facebook, there are 10 new cases in Malaysia today (17th June) as of 12pm, bringing the total number of cases to 8,515 cases. There are currently 521 active cases. Out of the 10 cases reported, 3 cases are foreigners and 7 cases are Malaysians.

140 cases have been discharged today and the total number of patients discharged since February is 7,873 cases.

There is no addition of death cases today bringing the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia to 121 cases.

These latest numbers should indicate that we need to accept the new normal by maintaining good hygiene and practising social distancing at all times.
