99 per cent among the newly recorded Covid-19 cases are of categories 1 and 2, according to Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham.
Out of the total of 32,800 new Covid-19 cases recorded on 11 March 2022 (Friday), 12,726 cases or 38.8 per cent were in Category 1 and the other 19,891 cases or 60.6 per cent were in Category 2.
“There were 70 cases – 0.21 per cent – in Category 3, 78 cases (0.24 per cent) in Category 4 and 35 cases (0.11 per cent) in Category 5. This brings the total percentage of people in the three categories to 0.56 per cent,” he said in a statement to BERNAMA.

Category 2B includes those who experience persistent fever for two days or more, breathing difficulties when doing activities, chest pain, loss of appetite and tiredness. They also experience worsening symptoms (cough, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea), low level of consciousness and less urination within 24 hours.
