29-year-old Malaysian actress, Saidah Kamarudin, recently revealed that she had broken up with her ex-fiancé after finding out he was financially unstable.

Saidah said that her ex-fiancé, 22-year-old Malaysian actor Muhammad Muntazar Gufran, only had RM500 in his bank account when they were about to tie the knot.

The pair got engaged in May 2024 after a year of dating.

The wedding was cancelled after the pair broke up last October. Saidah also claimed that the actor hacked into her TikTok account and posted fake comments under her username, which prompted Saidah to reveal the reason why the wedding did not happen.

According to Saidah, Muntazar left comments using her TikTok account and said “she hasn’t moved on” from the breakup, and claimed that Saidah was “taking a pill” due to stress.

In her TikTok post, Saidah said she could tell it was Muntazar’s handiwork simply from the way the comments were written.

“Even if I had forgotten to change my password, what gives you the right to log into my TikTok account?”

“I could’ve exposed more about you here, but I decided not to.”

Saidah also said that she had contributed a lot financially to the cancelled wedding, which prompted her to ask for Muntazar’s bank statement, which sealed their fate. She added that she regretted knowing Muntazar, claiming that the actor tried to meddle with her personal affairs even after the breakup.

“You only had RM500, you could only take care of yourself? How are you going to take care of others?”

In another TikTok post, Saidah also said that she had chosen to keep their dirty laundry private, but was not happy when she found out that Muntazar allegedly hacked into her TikTok account.

Saidah also revealed that she had lodged a police report about the matter and will let the authorities do their job.

“I don’t want to give him any more attention. He loves all this temporary fame,” Saidah said.

“It’s better if I remain silent”

In his Instagram story today (June 4), Muntazar did not confirm or deny the hacking allegation but said that he is choosing to remain silent for the time being to preserve his dignity.

“I don’t want to prolong the matter. I consider this a sign from God as to why the relationship did not work out.”
