Malaysian entrepreneur and singer Dato’ Seri Vida is sometimes known for making a controversial “entrance” when she emerges on social media. From flaunting her wealth to releasing a single, DSV has never expressed any concern towards what netizens have to say about her.

You criticise her while she continues to live her life extravagantly!

Just recently, DSV found herself under fire again after flaunting her wealth (yet again but in a different way) on her Instagram post. This time, DSV showed off her huge, thick gold ring and gold necklace.

“I haven’t worn this much in a while. Now it feels heavy.”

That’s one way of expressing herself, like telling others you’re rich, without actually telling others you’re rich. In the short IG clip, DSV mimes the song from Rihanna – Diamonds, while posing with her gold pieces of jewelry. With that much of jewelry on her, DSV certainly shines bright like a diamond.

“You can’t even carry gold to the grave”

As expected, not everyone liked what they saw, and many thought that DSV should stop flaunting her wealth on social media. In the meantime, some netizens defended DSV for doing so, saying that she has the right to do what she sees fit since she has never used anyone’s wealth but her own.

“Instead of flaunting your gold, you might as well flaunt the good deeds you have done.”

“That’s a major show-off vibe. We can’t even bring any of those to the grave.”

“It’s really up to DSV. It’s her money, and as long as she’s happy.”

Another netizen claimed that it was nothing but fake gold on DSV’s body.

“If they were real gold, DSV would’ve broken her neck. Real gold is heavy!”

“I don’t understand those who slammed her. She has a gold store, so it makes sense for her to promote her business. It’s up to DSV how she wants to promote her business.”

You can see DSV shining bright like a diamond here.

Do you think DSV was flaunting her wealth, or do you think she was merely sharing her happiness with the fans?
