Everyone makes mistakes right? So long we admit and learn from it!
Well, it’s no shocker that the new Sony PS5 is currently in high demand. But when the demand for something is high, suppliers and sellers have a tendency of hiking prices and creating unreasonable purchase restrictions in order to earn as much as possible.
But considering how unethical and inconsiderate this practice is, many Malaysians are not having it anymore.
Popular gaming store, Gamers Hideout recently took to their Facebook page to apologise to Malaysians after their PS5 purchase with purchase (PWP) pre-order bundle was shot down and criticised by the general public.
They wrote, “On behalf of the Gamers Hideout team, we want to thank you for your kind support. Over the past few days, there is nothing more regretful than knowing the feedback for the unpopular PS5 PWP bundle from our fans and community. For that, we are truly sorry and immediate actions will be taken to rectify this concern.”
Sony Malaysia spoke to WORLD OF BUZZ in regards to this incident, while assuring the general public that they are in the midst of rectifying the problem.
“We have highlighted this to our respective departments and they are in the midst of investigating this situation. At Sony, customer satisfaction is something that we take very seriously and would never compromise under any circumstances. Unfortunately, sometimes unavoidable mistakes happen. In such rare cases, a satisfactory solution is always in place and preventable measures are introduced,” they said.
“Also as part of our continuous strive for perfection, we are implementing a number of checks and measures to ensure mistakes like these do not occur again. You deserve the best and we will make sure that you will get it with us,” they added.
In another statement allegedly by Sony Malaysia, that has been circulating social media and community channels, they have also assured the general public that they will be taking action against Gamers Hideout.
