The poor man was just trying to feed stray cats. He didn’t deserve to die like this!

Last night (3rd September 2019), a Bangladeshi tenant was killed for accidentally spilling some water on his landlady’s son while he was trying to feed stray cats in a bungalow located within Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

According to Astro Awani, Petaling Jaya District Police Chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said,

“Police received reports of a Bangladeshi man lying unconscious after being beaten by an Indonesian man known as Hardianto.”

The unconscious man was later pronounced dead due to the wounds incurred on the deceased’s body.

“The victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the back of the body, believed to be the cause of death.”

When asked to comment on the situation further, Mohd Zani revealed that the “landlady” wasn’t the actual owner of the house. The one-story bungalow actually belonged to a local Chinese woman who had passed away.

As the heir was unknown, the house was then converted into a rental property. According to Kwongwah Daily, the Indonesian “landlady” and her son had allegedly been renting out rooms in the house to foreign workers without any consent.

Mohd Zani confirms this in his statement:

“There are four bedrooms occupied by tenants consisting of several foreigners. The tenant paid the rent to the suspect’s mother.”

The two Indonesian fugitives reportedly fled the incident but police have collected evidence from the crime scene that will help identify the suspects in order to proceed with the investigation.

“Police have collected some evidence such as cigarette butts, knife case, shirt, trousers, three fingerprints, and blood stains.”

Authorities are now in active pursuit of the two suspects. As for the deceased’s body, a post-mortem was conducted at 10am at University of Malaya Medical Center (PPUM).

To everyone who’s currently in the PJ area, be careful! These fugitives are still out there.
