Going through airport security can be a tedious process, but it’s a necessity for the sake of everyone’s safety.

With that said, a XiaoHongShu user is now questioning whether people can actually skip airport security after her flight from Kuala Lumpur to China was delayed due to a passenger who allegedly managed to board the plane without a boarding pass!

Netizen, 小超人不会飞, took to their XiaoHongShu account to share how they had arrived 4 hours late to their destination of Xiamen, China, after a passenger with no ticket managed to find her way onto the flight while boarding in Kuala Lumpur.

They wrote, “Can get on a plane without a ticket? This is my first time experiencing this! On August 29 (Thursday), Xiamen Airlines flew from Kuala Lumpur to Xiamen. I boarded the plane as per usual and walked to my seat when I saw a woman walking out.”

“I felt very annoyed because everyone was walking to the back (of the plane) as they boarded and there were so many people. She was blocking the way. Then, as I was stuck there, I heard a conversation that will shock me for a hundred years.”

The conversation they heard was between the woman blocking the plane’s aisle and a flight attendant.

“Hello, ma’am. Where is your seat? Have you been walking around for a while?” the flight attendant asked, to which the woman responded, “I don’t have a seat.”

The flight attendant then asked the woman for her boarding pass so that she could assist in finding the woman’s seat, but the woman simply replied, “I don’t have a ticket.

Stunned by the conversation, the netizen sat down in their seat and looked around for the woman, but didn’t see her.

Thinking that the whole thing was a joke and that the woman did have a boarding pass, the netizen proceeded to mind their own business until an announcement came 5 minutes later.

“Within 5 minutes, an announcement came on and asked everyone to take all of their luggage off the plane and return to the terminal. The plane needed to be rechecked. The reason was that the cabin was in chaos due to the abnormal behaviour of a non-flight passenger,”

“After returning to the terminal, I saw the woman being taken out of the terminal by airport staff. They were probably waiting for the police. Then, they started checking passports and tickets of the passengers, one by one, according to the first letters of their names before reboarding the flight,” they said, adding that the woman was, indeed, taken away by the police.

They went on to question how the woman even made it onto the plane without a boarding pass, considering the layers of security a passenger has to go through at an airport.

“She didn’t even have a bag on her. She didn’t look like a normal passenger. I am really curious. How did she get on the plane without a ticket? Because we all went through the security checks at the terminal door and provided our tickets and passports before entering the terminal,”

“Anyway, as a result, I arrived safely (in Xiamen) but I was 4 hours late,” they added.

How do you think the woman ended up on the plane without a boarding pass? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
