Imagine accidentally coming across this while browsing through potential homes!
According to The Star, Singaporean home buyers noticed something unusual when a few property listing websites showed seemingly normal photos of an apartment and its various facilities.
Much to the shock of the owner, one photo displaying the bedroom clearly showed a man’s naked body in the reflection of the mirror in the room! Omg!
What’s even weirder is that these photos have been up on multiple property listing websites for the past month, but netizens only noticed the reflection of the naked man earlier this week on Tuesday (6th March).
In light of this shocking discovery, the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) is currently investigating the matter. Meanwhile, Property agent Benson Han, who is marketing the 12-year-old apartment for SGD$570,000 (approx. RM1.7 million), told local news that the photos were sent to him from the apartment’s owner via WhatsApp during the Chinese New Year period in February.
He said,
“He had just done some spring cleaning, and I guess while he was cooling off, he decided it was a good time to take some better photos of the place.”
“Because (the photo) was so small, I didn’t notice it.”
The property agent has since told his colleagues to take down the ad from PropertyGuru and 99.co after informing the apartment owner about the issue.
“He was shocked, it was clearly unintentional. Who on earth would post a naked photo?”
Han’s colleague, Angeline Liang, added that the photo had been circulating among a few netizens who found the situation amusing. She condemned such behaviour, telling local media, “It’s not very nice to send such photos.”
What an unfortunate thing to happen! Let’s hope the relevant authorities investigate this error to make sure nothing like this happens again.
