FamilyMart is celebrating its third year anniversary as a convenience store in Malaysia and they have got something exciting to celebrate their birthday with their customers.

For their 3rd Birthday, FamilyMart is introducing a sponge cake which is infused with Earl Grey Tea. And, what’s even more amazing is that this cake can be DIY-ed with their Brown Sugar Boba. In their Facebook post, FamilyMart shared,
“No anniversary is complete without a cake! This soft, sponge cake is infused with the classic of Earl Grey Tea. Don’t stop there, opt to add on our brown sugar bubble to indulge in a mouth-watering dessert experience!”

This new item in FamilyMart costs RM5.90 for each cake and you will have to pay an additional RM2.00 if you would like to add on some boba. So, altogether you get to enjoy a DIY Bubble Earl Grey Cake for only RM7.90!

Having said that, the Earl Grey Tea Cake and Bubble will be sold at different prices (RM7.10 for Earl Grey Tea Cake & RM2.40 for Bubble) in the following places:
- KLIA2
- Resort World Genting

Of course, the moment we heard about this DIY Bubble Earl Grey Cake that’s being sold in FamilyMart, we knew we had to get our hands on it and truth be told, we weren’t disappointed.

The cake was soft (as they promised) and very light, it felt like the cake melted in our mouths as soon as we ate it. On the other hand, some of us enjoyed the Brown Sugar Boba a little too much; it had a good balance of sweetness as the cake itself wasn’t too sweet.
In short: It was delicious and worth it.
