Former Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Datuk Hajah Zuraida Kamaruddin, said she was waiting for United States (US) President Donald Trump’s arrival in Kuala Lumpur.
She wanted to yell “lahanat”, a curse word, at Trump, but didn’t manage to do so.

Former Minister said she wanted to curse at Trump in Kuala Lumpur
Zuraida, who is also the former President of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), said that she and other participants were upset that the authorities’ action of changing the location of the Solidarity Rally Against Trump yesterday (26 October).
According to her, the change of location from Ampang Park to Dataran Merdeka should not be done hastily without prior notification to participants who were ready to gather.
“I was really looking forward to going down to Ampang Park, but suddenly I found out the location had been changed. This shows that the government doesn’t have the guts to face up to it professionally.”

Zuraida said Trump’s presence is not welcome here
Zuraida said that the rally was held as a clear message to Trump that Malaysians reject his presence in the country as well as US foreign policy, which supports Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people.
“Although he may not have heard, I am sure the news will reach him that Malaysians reject the tyranny and evil against Gaza that he supports by supplying funds and weapons.”
Zuraida, however, was glad that efforts to hold a rally were made to send Trump a message. His presence was not welcome.
She also described Trump as a hypocritical leader who often speaks in favour of humanitarian values, but at the same time supports the terrorism of the Zionist regime. She also rejected the view that Trump’s presence in Malaysia could strengthen the country’s economy, as reported by the Malaysia Gazette.
“Trump is also a bully in the economy. When I was in charge of commodities, America campaigned all out to reject our palm oil as being unhealthy, when palm oil is much better than their oil.”
Trump landed in Malaysia yesterday (26 October) and departed for Japan this morning (27 October) at 10. Stay tuned to WORLD OF BUZZ as we keep you updated about the 47th ASEAN Summit.
