If the company performs well in the past year, the employees tend to be rewarded for their hard work after a hectic year. However, in a rare circumstance, a group of employees in JB banded together and got their boss a brand-new Toyota Harrier!

In a viral Facebook post by the company, 7272 ong百果園the group of loving employees surprised their boss with the new car, and that’s not the best part.

The down payment and the monthly installment of the Toyota Harrier are ALL on them! The boss does not need to pay a single cent for his new ride.

The lucky boss, Han, who is 50 this year now has about 40 employees working with him, with some of them reaching the management ladder, and some even invested to be shareholders of the company.

Just what is it that Han has done to deserve such a huge, huge surprise?

Han is not fancy but he’s kind

According to the Facebook post, the gesture is a form of gratitude and a token of appreciation to Han for his dedication and care not just for the company, but also the happy employees. However, the employees probably know it’s high time for Han to change a new car.

In an interview with China Press, Han said the only car he had ever bought was Perodua Kembara which was 1st launched 20 years ago, and he has been travelling with the car since then, if not the company car.

“I’ve never given any expensive items to my workers, but I’m always kind to the people around me,” Han said.

The new ride, however, is not a “get out of jail free card”. Han jokingly said that he would still scold his employees if they make mistakes at work in the future. You can watch the clip below, in which Han is seen feeling happy and surprised to see his new ride waiting for him.

Dear readers, do you think it’s time to turn the tables and reward your boss with a car?
