Marketing for social media is becoming a tricky considering the vastness of the landscape and not to mention, the utter weirdness of its content.

From influencers to memes, the possibilities are endless when it comes to finding ways to reach out to your target audience. But how well it works is completely up to your level of creativity.

Malaysian hypermarket Econsave is a shining example of an social media savvy brand that perfectly integrates internet culture into their promotional postings and advertisements. They recently took to Twitter to post a job advertisement that caught netizens’ eyes and has had them utilising every ounce of their brain juice to figure it out.

They captioned the advertisement with, “Guys. There’s a new vacancy. But we didn’t have time to make a poster. Hope you can figure out by yourself okay. We are looking for a ________ executive.”

But fret not, for they’ve also shared the job description to help netizens solve the riddle in the thread. (We’ll give you a hint: It involves both Malay and English wordplay.)

Have you gotten the answer yet?

Quick-witted netizens rushed to the thread to answer the riddle with their correct answers.

This definitely isn’t the first time Econsave let their personality shine in their social media postings. They posted another viral job advertisement just about a month ago, looking for a graphic designer.

This poster says, “Open position, graphic designer. Warning: Do not apply if your graphic designs are worse than this poster.”

In fact, their social media skills are so good that they engage in meme filled conversations with their audience.

This conversation goes, “Admin, do you have any openings for this job? (IT)”

Econsave: Belum ada (Not yet).

I guess it’s safe to say they’re being economical by not having hired a graphic designer yet, but hey, whatever it is they’re doing, it’s working!

Econsave’s logistics job advertisement has since garnered over 2,600 retweets.

Do you guys think they should actually hire a graphic designer, or just roll without one and continue putting out hilarious posts like these? Do let us know in the comments section!
