Korean guys are always depicted as gentlemen with cute dimples, and those killer smiles in Korean drama.
But in this case, it’s the total opposite of that.

Recently a footage of a Korean guy turning violent on an airplane has been making rounds in social media. Apparently the guy spat at least 4 times throughout the footage at the flight attendant’s face. If that wasn’t enough, he even kicked one of the air stewardess.
The guy was later identified as Lim Bum Joon, a 34-year-old spoiled brat according to Koreaboo. His father is Lim Byung Sun, the CEO of Doo Jong Products, INC, a make up and cosmetic export company.
Bum Joon was on a plane back to South Korea from Vietnam after attending a business meeting on behalf of his father. After having 2 and a half glasses of alcohol, the drunken guy unleashed his tantrum while riding in Prestige Class.
“(Bum Joon) kept talking to me after getting on the plane and I didn’t respond. 2 hours into the flight, he hit me with his hand saying, ‘This hyung is no fun’,” said the 56-year-old passenger sitting next to him.
Bum Joon then started hitting the 36-year-old flight attendant in-charge. He then kicked two other flight attendants in their face and stomach, and swore at the flight engineer and kicked him at the shin. Daymm…this guy has no CHILL!
His tantrum which lasted 2 hours came to an end when passengers including Richard Marx helped to restrain him on his seat. It wasn’t easy to restrain him because he was really good at spitting, and brushing people off with expletives.
He was bombarding Korean profanities at the flight attendant’s face.

They had to tie him down on the seat with rope and secure his hands with a white cable tie.

He was arrested once the plane touched down on Incheon International Airport. However, he was soon released under the custody of his father because he was too drunk to be questioned, Koreaboo reported. The police will summon him again when he is sober.
This incident is just one of the “feathers” on Bum Joon’s cap. Apparently he is notorious for his violent behaviour and has been listed in “Black Consumer List” for similar incident on September 2016 according to Hankook Ilbo.
You know what’s funny? Bum Joon actually attended Lila Elementary School which is considered one of the “Three Rich Elite Schools”. Many celebrities and even former president’s children have attended this elite elementary school.
“I had things to do in Vietnam but because I was so busy I sent my son instead. I will have him go to the police station and cooperate in their investigations later on,” said Lim Byung Sun.
Lim Byung Sun, his father, was no better. He too was plagued with scandals regarding his company, Doo jung Products, INC. For instance, a senior employee assaulted a Chinese female employee in 2014 whom sustained injuries behind her ears.
