Drinking and driving is never a good idea, but time and time again we are met with continuous incidences of people disregarding the law and doing it anyway.

With escalated accidents involving drunk driving taking center stage, you would think that people would be promoting abstinence from alcohol or at least practice good judgment by not driving when intoxicated, right?

Wrong!

Recently, the video of a truck driver getting arrested by the fuzz which received 139k views is proof that the problem is far from over.

Apparently involved in an accident with another vehicle, the intoxicated suspect allegedly hurled obscenities at the victim and even voiced his intentions to rape her!

Here is the video of the incident.

The video, which was captured by the victim, witnessed the man circling his truck attempting to weasel his way out of the arrest.

The woman recording the video shouted what he did for the benefit of the police to hear how drunk the driver was.

“How can you be drunk in broad daylight, you cursed me and wanted to rape me!”

Shared by netizen Putera Aduka, the video should be seen as proof of the need for stricter laws preventing drunk driving from becoming a norm in Malaysia.

Becoming another example of why there should be stricter laws to clamp down on drunk driving, Malaysians have in recent times bandied together and start a petition to address the issue.

We sincerely hope that this incident will not repeat itself in the future. We are thankful that this incident did not end up with anyone being hospitalized.
