Yellow light DOES NOT mean speeding to pass through the traffic light before it turns red. Sometimes, overconfidence kills.

A driver in Klang recently attempted to drive through the traffic light and ended up in an unexpected accident. In a viral video that is circulating on social media, the driver on the left lane is seen speeding through the yellow light before it turns red. A ballsy attempt but the driver ended up hitting a Honda Civic police patrol car!

Based on the dashcam footage’s information, the incident took place on June 5 around 6:03 PM.

We guess it wasn’t the driver’s lucky day. He had no choice but to park his car by the road and deal with the police himself.

The footage, however, did not show how the matter ended and at the time of writing (June 7), PDRM has yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter.

Regardless, we hope that all drivers can follow all the traffic rules. A little delay in your journey won’t hurt.
