The life of a croc keeper is very intriguing, and thankfully, we have TikTok now, where people share snippets of their own lives for others to see.

A certain croc keeper named BangBuya, who apparently works in the Melaka Crocodile and Recreational Park, often uploads little clips about his job.

In his most recent viral video, which garnered 5 million views, we see him talking to a croc named Jamal during his lunch.

We can see that Jamal was waiting near the gate, and the croc keeper had a bucket of chicken with him on the floor.

“It’s time to eat, son.”

However, it seems that the croc had other ideas, and he lunged at the croc keeper, who quickly closed the door.

After a few seconds, the croc returned to the water, and Bang Buya kept repeating, “Be patient. You’re always like this during mealtimes.”

As Bang Buya got closer, Jamal lunged at him again. The croc keeper then got closer one more time and started talking to him in a softer tone.

“It’s me, it’s uncle. Don’t you recognise uncle anymore, son?”

The clip ends with the crocodile looking a little guilty for what he did.

Many netizens in the comments said that the croc was too hungry, while others asked the keeper to be careful.

“Oh, it’s time to eat? Hmmm… EAT YOU.”

“Not only crocodiles. Even when I’m hungry I forget my partner,” said a user.

Another user commented, “If it’s mealtime, he doesn’t care about uncle or aunty.”

“You too Bang. Go a little further back, we are the ones who are scared.”
