In this day and age, people tend to be more selective of their partners based on physical attributes. For instance, women may have a tendency to go for men who are tall, dark and handsome, emphasis on the ‘tall’ part.
Well, studies are now showing that shorter men make better partners, both physically and mentally.
Mentally meaning that they’ll lessen the household workload by helping with chores more often than taller men. A study by New York University (NYU) showed that while men shorter than 170.18cm are 32% less likely to divorce, though they are also less likely to wed their taller counterparts.
They contribute to chores more often than their taller friends:
Short men: 8 hours and 28 minutes of housework a week
Men of average height: 7 hours and 38 minutes of housework a week
Tall men: 7 hours and 30 minutes of housework a week
The study also shares that shorter men tend to make more money.
Meanwhile, research by the Journal of Sexual Medicine has also shown that shorter men also have more sex. They’ve found that men shorter than 175.26cm reported having more sex than taller men.
So, before you brush off that guy just because he’s shorter than you, you might want to consider that he’ll probably give your peace of mind by helping you around the house more often and then he’ll break your bed.
