Malaysian content creator Mekyun recently shared a shocking encounter with another woman who requested to take photos with her.
In her viral Threads post, Mekyun said she was approached by another woman who wanted to take pictures with her. Little did she know that the latter had something else in mind, and no one saw it coming.
“Do you want to be my husband’s 2nd wife? Be my madu? (another woman who becomes a wife to her own husband),” the woman asked Mekyun out of the blue.
That’s not even the bizarre part.
The woman asked Mekyun the shocking question in front of her kids TWICE.
Mekyun rejected the other lady by laughing and shaking her head. However, she did not share how the other woman reacted when her odd request was rejected.
Testing the market?
On the other hand, social media users were glad to see Mekyun rejecting the other woman with a baffling request, saying that no one should drag themselves into an unwanted situation.
“A test to his man, actually, and don’t believe the lady. If you married her husband, she would pull out the victim card.”
One user said, “Make sure we’re always number 1. There’s no such thing as number 2.”
“If I was her husband, I would’ve run because I would’ve been embarrassed by that question.”
Another said, “I don’t like it when a partner wants to test the market in such a way. It’s so uncomfortable and shows a complete disregard for sensitivities. What happens if the roles were reversed and her husband did the same?”
