A lot of Malaysians working in Singapore aren’t able to return home because frankly, they can’t afford the quarantine period which might even affect their jobs. The separated families get on by understanding the sacrifices the family member who is away makes just for them.
However, it’s days like these that just break your heart knowing their sufferings there. A Facebook user is pleading Malaysians everywhere to locate the family of her colleague who passed away due to liver failure Wednesday (4 November) around 7pm.
Lim Jee Meng, 47, hails from Ipoh, Perak and according to his IC, supposedly lives in Ipoh Garden East. Certis Cisco Security Pte Ltd is currently looking for his next-of-kin but they haven’t been successful.
We reached out to the Facebook user who reassured that he will update us with more information about Lim Jee Meng. If you have any information regarding Lim Jee Meng or his family, please call Certis Cisco Security Pte Ltd at this number +65 9853 9817.
Update: Lim’s colleague reached out to us and said that another person reached out to him. A few people tried finding the victim’s family and even went to his house in Ipoh Garden East but unfortunately found it empty. According to the information given by the victim’s colleague, the victim is an orphan. Several of the victim’s friend already contacted his colleague.
